Lit Circle Chapters 8-9
Today we discussed the format of the blog a lot. We covered the information from the book and analyze several topics including the multiple references to Perry's pager, the strange deaths that are portrayed and their significance, and how Perry's training often wasn't up to level it needed to be to save patients that were in vital danger. Perry speaks about the awful position he is put in when he knows someone is dead but their family hasn't been informed yet. This is our third entry and we are already half way done so for the rest of our blog we will be analyzing each chapter piece by piece.

Lit Circle for Chapters 3- 5
As we continued reading on, we are getting used to his writing style. In this Lit Circle, we discussed his occupation as an EMT. We were all very confused on his organization of his stories, due to the lack of dates on his stories. If dates had been present it would have been easier to put the stories into a chronological order. However, as we continue reading the book it is becoming easier to distinguish the time frame of the story as we become more accustomed to Perry’s writing style.
Lit Circle for Chapters 1-2
Today, we were just getting started. However the first story really captured our attention. We were confused at the structure and the formatting of the novel. But we are all very excited to continue reading on and discover more of this book. We have all decided that the Beagle is the most intriguing part of the book thus far.
Throughout the ages, individuals have sought to answer the world's toughest problems such as transportation, communication, and governmental limitations. Now, a group of people have come together to answer a new question, what is the hidden meaning behind Population: 485. Questions such as, why are there only 485 people. Alternatively, there was a disease, which overran the population leaving only 485 individuals to repopulate the earth. On the other hand, it is the census numbers for a northern Wisconsin Town which the author of the book will base the story. This critic believes that Mitchell, Kenzie, Moira and Stephen will be able to answer this quesiton and many more through their analytical brain power, after reading the book Population: 485 written by Michael Perry. This blog will display our findings in Perry's book in an informative and educational manner.
